Jen Ario holds a Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. She employs a person-centered approach in her practice, meeting clients where they are and focusing on what is important to them. By building on their strengths, Jen works with clients to address their needs and support their journey toward becoming the best version of themselves. She recognizes that there is no one-size-fits-all solution and tailors her approach to each individual's unique circumstances.
Jen integrates elements from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, mindful self-compassion, and solution-focused therapy. Her experience includes working with clients who have co-occurring disorders, bipolar disorder, PTSD, borderline personality disorder, major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety, agoraphobia, schizophrenia, and substance use disorders. Jen believes in the importance of building skills to manage life's challenges and focuses her therapy on helping clients develop and utilize these skills
