I am a licensed alcohol and drug (LADC) counselor, ARMHS worker and a pre-license MS that has worked in residential and outpatient settings for the last 8 years. I have a BS in Addiction Studies and Counseling from North Central University in 2013, and an MS in Clinical Mental Health from Grand Canyon University in 2020.
I use a relaxed but direct approach that allows clients to relax and focus on their goals in treatment and in therapy. I use approaches from cognitive behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, and acceptance and commitment therapy.
I have a passion for recovery that uses a person-centered approach and honors the client’s own experiences and values to direct their recovery. I like the outdoors and listening to many kinds of music. I am a member of NAADAC and the American Counseling Association.
