MIKE MORRIS, LPCC

Psychotherapist

Feeling better is a process. Sometimes it can be helpful to have a trusted professional to assist you through this process. I am a licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC), with over fifteen years of experience working in the mental health field in a variety of settings. I have experience working with adults from a wide range of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Some of my clinical interests include depression, anxiety, social anxiety, job stress, grief and loss, self-esteem, life adjustment issues as well as alcohol and substance use issues. I enjoy and have an expertise in working with adults with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI).

I believe in taking a compassionate, collaborative approach, partnering with individuals in finding relief from suffering and moving towards healing and recovery. I incorporate person centered, behavioral, cognitive-behavioral and holistic approaches in my work with individuals.
