Mission

As people called to family and community, ACS respects the life and dignity of each person and believes that all have the right to those things required for human happiness and decency. To this end we offer coaching, encouragement, and supportive care, to those individuals seeking services for burdens they cannot overcome alone.

Vision

ACS aspires to equip all people receiving services, with the skills necessary to live a dignified and meaningful life. Although as human beings we are all broken, yet we believe there is hope for all. We also recognize that becoming the best version of ourselves is an ongoing daily process throughout our lifetime.

Values

Human Person

We believe the human person is complex and seeks truth, love, work, joy, freedom from addictions, family, and God.  Therefore, we seek to provide services that support these values.

Respect for Others

We believe that every person at any stage of life; unborn, aged, disabled, or ill, is created by God and should be valued. Therefore, we will respect each other’s differences, not discriminating based on racial, or ideological differences: while possibly holding to different beliefs of our own. 

Healthy Families

We believe people are healthiest when family and community connections are strong.  To that end, we coach all connected with ACS to develop more effective communication skills when expressing their needs in family, in work, or in community.

Healthy Communities

Healthy communities grow out of the belief that each person has equal value and worth as a human being.  At ACS we seek to acknowledge strengths in each other, while also offering resources and support for any areas of need people may encounter.

Work

Since much of our life involves time spent at work; we believe our team should have an environment where they know their work, ideas, and strengths are respected and supported.  We strive to provide a space at ACS that supports a healthy workspace.

Service

We believe that the human person was created to serve God and others. This spirit of service starts with our team at ACS and spreads outward to our clients, who in turn are encouraged to participate in community needs and activities.
